They are full of tannins that have many positive effects and naturally lower the pH of the water. These substances have an antibacterial and stress-reducing effect. The nuts give the water a brown color and are therefore also suitable for creating a blackwater biotope. If you plant some moss or put leaves on and around it, you get a very natural hole!
*NB! This product is a natural product. This could mean that there are traces of contamination. We always recommend that you rinse these products before use and, if necessary, boil them briefly (approximately 10 minutes). If you want these products to be free of tannins (brown color), you can boil or boil them for 60 minutes until the cooking water no longer turns color. This product can float for hours or days. We recommend that you add no more than 1 product per 50L per day. Large nuts in particular can cause a large increase in tannins. Do a water change where necessary.
